Victoria Castro

To begin with I would like to clarify that I do not admire just any person, however, there are some very important people in life. This is the case of Victoria Castro, a great Chilean archaeologist. Victoria was born on July 3, 1944 and passed away this year on June 24. 

Victoria Castro's contributions to national and international archaeology are many, I would not be able to expose them all in this blog hahaha, however she was characterized by her great interdisciplinary work, where she has developed in the fields of archeology, ethnobotany and cultural anthropology. Her great performance in her field made her win the Nobel Prize in archaeology. 

Victoria is undoubtedly a great example for archaeologists and anthropologists to follow.
